Organization and Mission 

The Scholar’s Mate Chess Academy was founded with the mission to provide a fun, competitive and engaging atmosphere that encourages cooperation and friendship while developing important leadership skills.

The Scholar’s Mate Chess Academy focuses on teaching leadership skills and how chess can empower students to think ahead and calculate the consequences of their actions before taking them.   

 

We want our students to understand that they are in control of their lives and that if equipped with the proper tools they can achieve their dreams.  Upon completion of our program students will be able to not only play chess, but also have a foundation of leadership skills and principles that will change their lives forever.
